Loved the "shut up, let's dance" compilation. I'm also writing more letters on paper, though I hadn't really stopped much. Most all my writing these days is on paper with pen and/or pencil first, unless I'm in transit, then it's a snippet on iA Writer. Guess I'm a cobbler. Anyway, I think you are right about how risk in all its forms is changing (has changed?). Risk has gone from being seen as innate to being seen as an ingredient that can be excluded. "De-risk," indeed. I guess the question is do the platform and algorithm de-risk for "best outcome"once in a while or "acceptably adequate" outcome regularly? And is that a good goal (for CPG, probably; for culture product, probably not). Anyway, as always, great write, great read!
